“A MILLION OR MORE YEARS HAS PASSED AND STILL THE EVIDENCE FOR THE ORIGIN OF MAN BY EVOLUTION IS ‘STILL MISSING!’ HOW LONG WILL MEN BELIEVE A LIE THAT CANNOT BE PROVED A REALITY?”

 I’m Dennis Finnan, host and speaker on the World, the Word & You! Broadcast and in a moment we’ll talk about evolution and creationism, and what reality points to as the true origins of man …

… For the last century at least, there has not been a hotter debate among intellectual minds that the question of the origin of the species. Indeed, where did all life come from and how is it mankind is found at the top of all living existence? Well that of course, is the question of the ages that is found in the “Creation vs. Evolution” debate among learned minds and science.

 Evolutionists fight against and vehemently deny what Creationists teach and vice versa. For their arguments are entirely opposed to one another. For instance, the evolutionist camp is composed the vast majority of scientists today whose ideas and thinking is driven by their atheistic and or agnostic philosophy of life. Their theory of life’s origins firmly states that all living matter “evolved” from non-living matter that either has been here forever (UNIFORMATARIANISM), or came into existence billion of billion of years ago through a happenstance explosion in time and space ( BIG BANG THEORY).

Following these billions of years, non-living matter somehow gathered together and energized into simple life forms, which through the process of evolutionary change, progressed to build higher and more complex life forms, this in turn gave us humanity and all life, as we know it today.  Since the evolutionist’s philosophy of life rejects the idea of a Creator God to rule over them, they have formulated a theory of origins that exclude the concept of “intelligent design” to be seen in the origin of all species.

Well in a moment, we are going to talk about origins of life, especially mankind as we look at the evidence proposed by both evolutionist and creationists that exist today. So don’t go away as we pause for another moment of music…

…It’s amazing how so many learned minds simply reject the idea that the origin of life comes by “intelligent design.” As many scientists look into the world about us to find out the origin of our species, they literally refuse to face truths found there, and formulate ideas and concepts that have no scientific proof whatsoever. Am I making this up? The answer is no! For evolutionists today constantly teach that the proof of life evolving from non-living matter can be seen in what is called the “Fossil Record.” 

I remember well in my early educational life that I was told by my science teachers that we could clearly see man’s evolution through this scientifically proved record of fossils. We’ve all seen the typical diagrams and museum artist’s creation presentations that show man evolving from a monkey like creature as he stood up and began walking, as his features smoothed, and his hair dropped off and became mankind as we are today. 

This evolutionary tree of life supposedly reveals the millions of years of life. This chart has been published for a century or more, with no explanation that it is a purely NATURALISTIC idea, based simply on rejection of a DESIGNER and His eyewitness account found in the Bible Book of Genesis. Yes, the whole reason there is a debate on the subject of life’s origins comes from what Scripture tells us,

Rom 1:25 (NIV)  They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen.

Therefore the key factor in the promotion of evolution is based more on philosophy of the scientist than any proofs found in our world today. Wise old Solomon of biblical days said it well when he wrote,

Prov 18:17 (NLT)  Any story sounds true until someone sets the record straight.

Well it’s time to set this record straight too. Evolution and its so-called proofs via the fossil record of past life is a fraud perpetrated by intellectually dishonest men and women solely to reject the omnipotent Designer of all life and living, the God of the Bible. Why even from among the ranks of evolutionary thinkers, this blunt fact is acknowledged. Evolutionist Richard Lewontin said,

“We take the side of science [meaning evolution] in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs…. Because we have a PRIOR commitment… to materialism… It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us to accept a material explanation of the phenomenal world… no matter how counterintuitive, how mystifying to the uninitiated… that materialism is absolute, for we CANNOT ALLOW A DIVINE FOOT IN THE DOOR.”^[1]

What an honest a statement given by one of their own high priests of evolution. For the truth of the matter is the “proofs” of evolution simply do not exist anywhere in the entire universe!

Until the 1800’s brilliant scientists had no trouble accepting the biblical account of creation found in the first chapter of Genesis. Men like Isaac Newton, Johan Kepler, Michael Faraday, Lord Kelvin, Gregor Mendel, Joseph Lister and Louis Pasteur. They all lived and died with a firm faith in “intelligent design” as the cause of all life and non-living matter’s existence. It wasn’t until men like Charles Darwin, and Charles Lyell came on the scene with their personal rejection of Christianity as their philosophy of life, that their ideas caught fire. And to prove it they came up with what is called the “Fossil Record” of evolution taught today as fact, when in reality it is no fact at all!

Evolution although taught is varying concepts basically says to us, that all life slowly over billions of years changed from a simple single cell of living matter into the complex forms we see all around us. However, if evolutionists are correct the truth is there should be thousands of “in between” forms of life showing conclusively the intermediate changes that brought one species to a higher and more complex level of existence. If these transitions between phyla cannot be found, something must be very wrong with their theory of evolution, which denies the existence and creation of life by a DESIGNER we call God.

The undeniable fact is, the fossil record shows no such evolutionary change, rather the fact that each species remains in their creative order and has since the beginning of time. Armies of evolutionist have scoured the earth to prove the upward evolution of life and humanity in particular, but have found nothing at all! In fact, all paleontologists today “know” that the fossil record shows no evidence of support. Yet, evolutionary scientists continue to lie to school children that the fossil record is proof of evolution.

Recently the respected scientific magazine, National Geographic ran an article affirming the latest find of an intermediate form of life proving evolution. It stated that the fossil of an Archaeoraptor had been found in China in the 1990’s proving evolution because it connected dinosaurs to birds. This stunning article proving evolution, was embarrassingly recanted.

The evolutionist’s Archaeoraptor was proved to be yet another hoax fossil foisted upon the world by zealous evolutionists, trying to link dinosaurs to birds.

In the November 1999 issue of National Geographic, the magazine stated this fossil was, “a true missing link in the complex chain that connects dinosaurs to birds.” But to their shame they discovered the specimen, found in China , was actually a fraudulent composite re-creation of two dinosaur fossils. It appears Chinese peasant farmer create these fossil hoaxes for money from evolutionists, who desperately accept them in the hopes of proving their worthless theory that has no scientific credibility let alone an intellectual one. U.S. News & World Report dubbed this fossil of Archaeoraptor "The Piltdown Chicken" and the name has stuck.

The fact remains, if one looks at the universe and world about us, they cannot in any reasonable way, come to any conclusion than it all had to have an intelligent Designer. Why? The answer is simple. For any creation or upward development there are three basic things that are absolutely essential:

1.      A PROGRAM is needed to direct growth

2.      A MECHANISM is needed to energize that growth,

3.      A PROTECTION SYSTEM is mandatory to sustain the growth in that program.

Yet evolution’s recipe for life evolving is presented to us today with the following,

1.      UNKNOWN CHEMICAL INGREDIENTS

2.      UNKNOWN PROCESS OF MECHANISM

3.      UNKNOWN LIFE FORMS

4.      UNKNOWN REPRODUCTION METHODS

5.      UNKNOWN OCEANIC SOUPS COMPLEX

6.      UNKNOWN TIME AND PLACE

Yet, we are called to believe in evolution that all living matter came into existence by blind chance with no intelligent design in origins or maintenance of all living matter, not to mention non-living matter. Is this science really? Not at all! True science has three absolutely essential ingredients too: (1) Something observable, (2) Something demonstrable, and (3) Something repeatable. Evolution has none of these! So, no matter how you look at it, the theory of evolution being a scientific theory, let alone “fact” as claimed, removes it from the realms of science  altogether.

Evolution then is a philosophy, a faith based on wishful thinking. Yet it’s opposite the theory of creation too is not science, but a philosophy based on the teachings and revelation of that INTELLIGENT DESIGNER called God -- who created all things in the exquisite life designs we find them. He is the same God of the Bible who reveled Himself to His creation.

In the Bible, we are told why we are here, where we are going and what God has been doing to accomplish all that. We read,

Gen 1:1 (NIV)  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Gen 1:26-27 (NIV)  Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Psalm 8:1-4 ( NIV) “… O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens… 3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, 4 what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?

Psa 53:1 (NIV)  “…The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.

Rev 4:11 (NIV)  “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

Mankind, the Bible says, chose in the beginning to live life in independence of God and in rebellion to His will. God allowed this, since He created humanity with “free will.” This free will was capable of rejecting God, but also to accept God and love him from one’s own heart, soul, mind and strength too. It was God design to create life to honor and serve Him, and for God’s highest creation, mankind, to do it with a willing heart of love. Thus, the long trek of man in rebellion to God, and God’s relentless pursuit, to rescue us from our sinful ways, that face a judgment to come. Again, the Bible tells us how God’s rescue came,

Rom 5:8 (NIV)  But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. John 3:16-17 (NIV)  “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Evolution today is simply another revelation of man’s rebellion to say, “we will not have this man, Jesus Christ the infinite God Man to rule over us!” Although the Bible is God’s love letter, and the story of man’s fall away from God’s loving eternal care, God is in the rescue business that comes when we reject evolution for what it is  -- a paper tiger of rebellion. Evolution simply says we need an argument to assuage our conscience, to affirm there is no God to bow down to and worship. At least honest evolutionists admit this, but the vast majority are blinded by their hatred of God, and their need to confirm His non-existence, so they perpetrate this hoax of humanity and origins. Years ago the famous rocket scientist in the NASA space program, Dr. Werner Von Braun said it well,

“ One cannot be exposed to the law and order of the universe without concluding that there mist be design and purpose behind it all… [therefore] it is in scientific honesty that I endorse the presentation of alternative theories for the origin of the universe, life and man in the science classroom. It would be an error to overlook the possibility that the universe was planned rather than happening by chance.”
So my friend, it was time to set the record straight as wise Solomon of old said. Evolution is a theory of origins based on the same mindless chance it proposes brought all things into existence. Only a mind that is corrupt and devoid in reason could and would propose such a theory. Yet brilliant men and women in the scientific field hold to this ridiculous concept. Why? The Bible answers.

Rom 1:21-32 (NIV -selected portions of these verses) “Yes, [in the beginning] they knew God, but they wouldn't worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas… Claiming to be wise, they became utter fools instead. 23 And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people, or birds and animals and snakes. 24 So God let them go ahead and do whatever shameful things their hearts desired…25 Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies… 28 When they refused to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done... 32 yet they go right ahead and do them anyway. And, worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.”

Indeed, real scientific experts on the subject of evolutionary proofs are aware that there is no scientific foundation for the claim of human evolution. David Pilbeam, a Harvard University paleo-anthropologist, says:

If you brought in a smart scientist from another discipline and showed him the meager evidence we've got [proving evolution] he'd surely say, "forget it; there isn't enough to go on."[2]

Friends, there is literally NO CREDIBLE EVIDENCE that evolution is true, but our world and universe shows much more evidence that INTELLIGENT DESIGN is behind it all. And, if you want to know more about this DESIGNER, go to the Christian Bible that reliably tells you about Him and His desire for you to know Him personally though His Son Jesus Christ. May God so open your eyes and heart to seek Him and to find Him and His blessings of forgiveness, hope and love…

 

… Friends, the fossil record is still missing even after millions of years. Those today who still present it as fact, to our impressible school children through science books and museum artist’s fantasies, should be admonished by parents and the like, for their lies have neither credibility nor proofs. May God lead us, who know the truth through Jesus Christ, the real Creator of all things, stand up and speak up when such false teachings are presented to our children and society.
