OF THE WORSHIP OF ALLAH”

 I’m Dennis Finnan, host and speaker on the World, the Word & You! Broadcast and in a moment we’ll talk about the world of Islam and its fatalism that is wrecking our world today …

… Well now, the broadcast clock is ticking fast, and I have much to say, so I’ll take time now to pause for a musical moment in our program today, after which I’ll return with a highly controversial message entitled: THE TRUTH ABOUT  ISLAM, which everyone in America and the world for that matter, needs to know and understand…

… As we look back now on the turn of the 21^st century, what one thing characterizes our world, just about everywhere you can place your foot on the soil of our earth? The answer is TERRORISM! Yes, without a doubt, worldwide terrorism is seen striking almost every area of the earth in one form or another, and the common denominator of it all centers in the radical hate-filled religion called ISLAM.

Now I know to make a statement like that, goes against the grain of those who try desperately to say ISLAM is not a radical hate-filled religion,, it’s only a characterization of the crazies within the religious movement that are the problem. Well without fear I beg to differ with you as unpopular as this is. The terrorism today that has killed millions upon millions of innocent people, is fueled by one thing alone -- the teaching and writings of a man named Mohammad and his religious faith founded centuries ago that is dedicated to the suppression and ruination of humanity as the Western world knows it.  Now after another pause for a moment of musical refreshment I’ll return with today’s talk entitled: THE TRUTH ABOUT ISLAM. Don’t go away…

… Indeed, words today can’t express our sorrow and yes, our hatred for the terrorism that has plagued the Middle East with the death, destruction and maiming of innocent human lives as carried out by Islamic terrorist. From Iraq to Israel , from America to England , the free world has experienced the terrible carnage perpetrated by Muslim extremists who are bent on nothing less than the destruction of the Western world and all its inhabitants. Yet, few today have grasped the reasons why bands of followers of Mohammad the prophet of old, would embrace this extremism of religious philosophy they think is honoring and serving the God of creation.

The recent London bombings in England that killed thirty people and injured more than 700, coupled with the thousands lost in the 911 terrorism attack on America; the March 11 2004, Spanish train bombings in Madrid, and the hundreds of thousands killed or maimed for life in Israel, Iraq, Afghanistan and the Sudan – all point to a worldwide terrorism campaign having one common denominator – the religion of Islam!

I’m amazed, how sensitive we are these days to zero in on the problem that fuels these terrorists, and how we consistently refuse to accept the truth that Islam is the real enemy behind it all.

Now let me say with the same breath, I do not believe the multitudes of peaceful people who are caught in the web of trying to follow the religion of “Islam” are the enemy. I do believe that it is only a segment of followers of Islam that perpetrate the bloodshed and destruction they insanely live for and enjoy. However saying all, that does not take away the truth that the real enemy of terrorism is the religion of Islam.

If one learns all its truth taught, and follows it fundamentally, they can arrive at no other conclusion than to be a terrorist; and, to learn to hate everyone who does not embrace the teachings of Islam as Mohammad the prophet presented it to the world.

If you are a peace loving Muslim then you have to face the fact that you are a liberal follower and you have picked and chosen only pieces of the faith and in effect are no different from the so called infidels who openly reject the teaching of Mohammad and his false god, Allah. This is why the Muslim terrorists find no problem in bombing and killing such Muslims too. The innocent death of men, women and children in Iraq that continues on these days, reflects this truth. Yet anyone who openly advocates that the religion of ISLAM is the enemy of the world is vilified even by the Western mindset, especially the politically correct crowd of the media and the news these days. Take the case in point recently where Washington radio station WMAL-AM fired talk show host Michael Graham, after he refused to soften his description of the religion of Islam he openly calling it "a terrorist organization," on the air last month.

We are so blinded by the fear of characterizing millions of the world’s followers of Islam, that their faith and religion is false and damning to them and the entire world. Yet that is the truth! There now I’ve said it. But now let me tell you why I’ve said it and prove to you it is the truth and nothing but the truth.  In fact, until we recognize this, we shall never defeat the terrorists and in the end they will eventually claim the destruction of the western world as their victory. Now what makes ISLAM, the faith of many good Muslim people today, a terrorist religion? Here’s my answer.

First of all, Islam is comprised of two things, (1) Faith (imam) and (2) Duty or practice (din). The basics of both “faith and practice,” come from its religious doctrines found in Islam’s holy book called the Koran (Qur’an). This book demands to be the absolute and authoritative rule of every Muslim’s life, spiritually and secularly too.  Now its founder, Muhammad, wrote parts of the Koran but the rest is supposedly based on his oral teachings. What is the fundamental “faith” taught in Islam? Well, it’s based on two things: (1) "The Six Articles of Belief," and (2)"The Five Pillars of the Faith." These two bodies of teachings found in the Koran are the heart of Islam. The Six Articles of Belief are:

THE SIX ARTICLES OF ISLAMIC BELIEF

1. God only is eternal and is one, and this alone is Allah.

2. The Koran is eternal and uncreated, and God's only and final infallibly inspired book.

3. God's angels are heavenly beings created to serve God, and are opposed to evil spirits.

4. God sent His prophets to earth at stated times for stated purposes; the last and greatest of these was Muhammad.

5. The Day of Judgment will find good and evil, as Allah determines it, weighed in the balance.

6. The lives and acts of men are foreordained (predestined) by the all-powerful god, Allah, who is the author of all good and evil too.

These six articles of faith are the foundational beliefs all Muslims must follow. Of course, the interpretation of them is further defined by what Islam calls, “the Five Pillars of Faith,” which are:

THE FIVE PILLARS OF THE ISLAMIC FAITH

1.  The Recital of the Islamic Creed, called "Shahada:" Every day, the faithful Muslim must publicly affirm, "There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet." This is the core assertion upon which membership in the community depends.

2.  Faithful Ritual Prayer - Five times every day upon rising, at noon, during mid-afternoon, after sunset, and before retiring, prescribed prayers must be recited while kneeling with one's forehead touching the ground, and facing Mecca. The Cebba (Kaaba) at Mecca , housing the "sacred "black stone," is believed to be the first house Abraham built for his son Ishmael, for worship, and where Adam uttered his first prayers to God.

3.   Faithful Almsgiving - The required almsgiving is separate and distinct from voluntary alms and is set at 2 ½ percent of all that a good Muslim possesses. Muslims distribute alms where they see the most need. In Muslim countries, this has become a national tax. As such, faithful Muslims are often generous people and many truly try to help other Muslims who have needs.

4.  Regular Fasting – All Muslims are required to abstain from food, drink and even sexual relationships from sunrise to sunset during the month of Ramadan. Such fasting, Muslims believe teaches self-discipline, aids in the curbing of appetites also at other times, and commemorates the month supposedly when the angel Gabriel dictated the Koran to Muhammad.

5.  Taking a Pilgrimage to Mecca - It is obligatory for every Muslim, during his or her lifetime, to make a pilgrimage to Mecca , if they are able. The purpose of this is said to be a reminder of the equality of all people and the devotion that everyone worldwide, owes to the god Allah, as well as a deed that facilitates one's salvation.

Now in addition to theses "Five Pillars of Islam," other rules and prohibitions have been laid down for the faith through the centuries. And, where the Koran fails to speak to an issue, traditions or the "Hadith," Muhammad’s oral teachings and personal practices bind the faithful to follow. However, because of differing interpretations of these traditions, Islam is actually a fragmented faith. Recognized Islamic scholars (Imam's) today lead the divided, in following Islam through three major sects of the faith. There is the Ahab, Sunni’s, and Shiites.

The largest sect of Islam is called the "Sunni." The term means "well-trodden path." The Sunni’s over the centuries, have become the overwhelming party of Allah. At least 90% of all followers of Islam are in the sect of the Sunnites. The Sunnites, for the sake of comparison, are the most tolerant, allowing differing interpretations of tradition and faith to coexist among them. Their leaders are not granted hierarchical succession, rather nominated by representatives in each community. As such, no group would be excluded unless they of course, renounced Allah and Mohammed.

Now saying all that, we come to the great problem Islam presents to the world. Islam is not just a religious faith; it is a “culture” and identity that cannot be separated from its followers. It demands to be woven into every fabric of societal life. This is why Iraq ’s new leadership cannot agree on a constitution. Each of the three sects are opposed to each other in practice.

Now, since many of the Muslim beliefs come from the Judeo-Christian Bible, there is a measure of agreement between Christianity and Islam. However, the differences in these faiths are catastrophic! Islam operates under a very legalistic and punitive system where every Muslim must earn his salvation and place in the afterlife.

For the Muslim, sin is any lack of obedience to Allah, their god. Islam rejects the key doctrinal teachings of Christianity such as the Trinity, the deity of Christ, Christ’s sacrificial crucifixion and resurrection, the sin nature of man and his salvation by grace alone through faith in Christ. They also vehemently reject the Judeo-Christian Bible as the only authoritative book on which to base matters of doctrine, faith and practice.

Since Islam is founded upon a dead prophet, whose bones rotted in its grave, and whose teachings were filled with anger, hatred, and war mongering -- today’s followers of Islam are perplexed. They must either follow hard after “all” the Koran says, or be in danger of denying their faith. In Muslim controlled countries, this can be the death sentence for anyone and even fall hard on their loved ones as well. I say this because there are many good, kind, peaceful followers of Islam, who struggle with the violent and aggressive calls and commands found in the Koran and quietly and simply don’t accept them! Rather they try to interpret them “figuratively” which infuriates those who “literally” interpret the Koran and follow its teachings to the core.

Thus within Islam, are the “fundamentalists,” a neutral term in and of itself, but when coupled with a false religion, and a corrupt book of teachings, its incendiary power inflames all around them. Hence the troubles of the Middle East , and the warfare against all who are considered its enemies.

Now realize this, the battles in the Middle East and Iraq especially, are not over land as much as over ideology and faith. The true Muslim follower of Islam cannot, and never will be able to live in peace with any follower who denies their faith and teachings as Muhammad taught. Particularly, Christianity and Judaism are their greatest enemies. Since America was founded upon Christianity and the great majority of missionaries come forth from us, Islam’s fundamentalist followers have dubbed all Americans as the “Great Satan.” 

That means we are the sworn and avowed enemies of Islam.  Likewise are the Jews in Israel , who further inflame Islam’s followers by claiming to be the legitimate son of Abraham, and rightful heir to the land of Palestine . Ishmael, Abraham’s first-born son through his concubine Hagar, is claimed to be the originator of most Arab peoples who are followers of Muhammad’s faith of Islam. They angrily reject Israel ’s claim as well as their faith. The radical, fundamental followers of Islam, reading Muhammad’s words are sworn to their deaths to kill and destroy their enemies – that is all Christians ( America ) and all Jews ( Israel .) 

Here then is the unsolvable problem which is found in a “SIXTH PILLAR OF ISLAM’S FAITH.”

Now following up on this thought, most Shiite Muslim's add a sixth pillar called "exertion."

This is most important for you to know. "Exertion," in Arabic is called “Jihad.” This enjoins a Muslim to exert themselves to the utmost to disseminate the Koran and make its rules and teachings supreme in the secular and religious world. Therefore, to the Shiite Muslim, all impediments to the spread of fundamental Islam must be removed – either through the tongue, the pen and if necessary, the sword. Muhammad himself sanctioned plundering and raiding all who didn't follow the faith. This is why the Shiite Moslems, the literal followers of Islam, have become the most dangerous people in the world!

We must never forget the brutal massacres of Christians (five million in Turkish Armenia in 1915-17); the regular persecution of Christian missionaries for which fanatical Muslims are known; the World Trade Center massacre of September 11^th  2001; The Spanish train bombings of March 11 2004; the recent London Subway bombings of July 2005; and not to forget the terrible, terrible death and destruction of suicide bombers, car bombs and mortar attacks on the innocent people of Iraq. 

All this is carried out by fanatical followers of the "Shiite" interpretation of the Islamic faith. They believe there is no price to steep to pay for world dominion. The brutal terrorists’ killings around the world are waged by Islamic fanatics within the terrorist party "Ebola" and "Hamas;" and, Osama bin Laden – all are Shiite fanatical Muslims who live for one purpose, destroying the "Great Satan," the enemy of Allah, which is for them a description of Christianity, Judaism and the entire West.

Can there ever be peace, by bringing the particular perpetrators of terrorism to justice? The answer is NO! According to the Muslim faith of Islam, there can never be peace until all Christians, the West, and Israel are destroyed, and all peoples and nations are submitted to Allah or are DEAD!

Until the West comes to understand this, all the peace negotiations, political solutions, and ignoring of the real problem, will utterly fail or at best be temporary and transitory. Peace for the militant Muslim is simply time to regroup, restock arms, and get ready for another assault for the glory of Allah. This is why in the Sudan in Africa , the Jihad there, is destroying, killing and enslaving millions who are not Muslims -- all in the hopes of gaining full control over the lives of everyone so they too will serve the false god Allah.

Friend the teaching of Islam is a wicked, sinful faith founded upon as the Bible says, “doctrines of demons.” Satan has raised it up to destroy mankind, all Christianity and especially Israel who brought forth the Christ child and Savior of the world. The fanaticism of Islam is fueled by demon forces that bitterly are working towards destroying everyone who has brought the spiritual defeat of Satan and his evil angels. Thus, the wars, the bombings, the terrorist attacks, the brutality and violence are essentially a “spiritual battle.” So Paul the apostle tells us in,

Eph 6:12 (NIV)  "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

 The only way to have lasting peace, is as the Bible says, for the PRINCE OF PEACE, Jesus Christ, to come and rule our world. Indeed, when the living and resurrected Savior Jesus Christ returns to the earth as promised, He will bring peace among all humanity, first by casting out all false religions and faiths that do not honor the one true God of the Bible. Islam’s aggressive, and imperialistic world vision of conquest will one day be destroyed by the true God Himself, not Allah. Until then, the only way we can have peace, is to CONTROL those under Satan’s delusion filled faith of Islam, who will not live in peace with those around them.

Now just because this religious faith is aggressive, violent and uncompromising in its call to enslave the world, does not mean all religion is the same. For example, Christianity is a faith of peace, it’s a faith that gives hope and assurance to all its followers, that God loves them, cares for them and in the best of ways grants to all humanity fairness, fellowship, and most of all complete full and final forgiveness for all of our sins.

By contrast, Islam offers no hope, is unfulfilling and every follower faces Allah, an impersonal god of strict graceless judgment. Allah offers no mercy, no love or any sacrifice on his part for the needs of his followers. Yet along side is the “GOOD NEWS” of Christianity. The Christian God, who created all things, has shown us His great love by sending to our world, His Son Jesus Christ. God loved us so much that He offered Himself to die in our place for our sins. The Bible says,

John 3:16-17 (NIV)  ""For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."

Rom 5:8 (NIV) yes, “ ..God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

In fact, Jesus emphatically said,

John 14:6 (NIV)  "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

John 8:24 (NIV) Remember,  "I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be [God], you will indeed die in your sins.""

 Well friends, the truth is -- until Jesus comes there will be no peace negotiated with those who follow the faith of Islam as Muhammad taught. That is the hard fact we all must face now and in the ensuing days ahead. May God grant those who follow this false faith, the light of Christ to turn them from darkness to the light of the Good News that Christ died for them, and upon accepting His sin penalty payment for us, they can be freed of their sins and guilt and given life eternal now and forevermore. Here I stand, I can say no more. Amen…

… Well friends thanks for listening I know these words today are hard and seem ruthless in and of themselves, but they are factual and you needed to hear it again. May God grant every Muslim follower, and all others too, eyes to see and ears to hear God’s truth that He loves them and wants their hope and happiness fulfilled in Him. Remember, only Christianity offers this on God’s behalf to all the world, simply by faith alone and surrender to Jesus Christ as one’s God and Savior. May God grant this faith to everyone who listens today. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
