“IS ANYONE OUT THERE? THAT Is THE CRY OF MANY SPENDING BILLIONS OF DOLLARS LISTENING TO OUTER SPACE IN THE VAIN HOPES AND ATTEMPT TO FIND THE SOUND OF LIFE OUT THERE."

I'm Dennis Finnan, host and speaker on The World, the Word & You! Broadcast and in a moment we'll explore this desperate hope of many today...

...In the past, we have talked about our nation's scientific search for life in Outer Space. Programs such as SETI that began many years ago, earmarked billions of our American tax dollars, to build elaborate radio detection devices to listen to space, in the hopes of hearing life among the stars. SETI which stands for the "Search for Extra-Terrestrial Life" has been listening to Outer Space for almost three decades.

Beginning with Project OZMA in 1960, our evolutionary scientists have searched for voices from Outer Space, but the truth is they have miserably failed to detect any sign of life, anywhere but on this planet. Yes, messages from beyond our world have eluded all human detection, that is, until recently a new discovery not much talked about, has given rise to great rejoicing for those who believe in the origins of Creation by an omnipotent Creator God. Yes, the Language of Space is not silent as one might think, only there are deaf ears who are listening for the wrong and non-existent signals.

However, before I tell you about this Language from Space. that can be heard today, let's pause again for another musical interlude. Following this we'll talk about mysterious and amazing messages from beyond the world as we know it...

...Yes, as I eluded to a moment ago, there are indeed messages from beyond our world, that are actually signaling us in the international language of mathematics. And as such, it's not the telescope we must turn to, rather the microscope to see and hear this language from beyond our normal senses. When scientists study the environment of our world, without going any further, there seems to be a strange mysterious and clearly discernible signal coming from of all things - the Creation itself. Let me share some exciting examples with you.

Today one of the most common elements of formation today is what is called crystals. Scientists who have studied them report that they always take on shapes involving a patterned ratio of 2, 3, 4, 6 - and amazingly absolutely no other! Dr. John Bernal a professor of crystallography, and holder of a past peace prize says, "no crystal has ever been built with the rotation of five or seven." You and I must ask - "why not?" The answer is, nobody knows! It has baffled the experts for years now. But, as one scientist said, "It's as if the crystals form to programmed instructions!"1. As strange as this is, there is more to consider.

Take for example the study of Bees. Biologists today wonder why every one of the millions upon millions of beehives is build geometrically, with the same number of hexagonal cells per square inch in every hive. There is never an alternation of any sort. How is it every bee has this complex construction ability? Are they super bees with super brains? Or is someone else doing the thinking for them and programming it into them? When a scientist today is led to consider this, they re forced to ask the question -"is this a signal via the international language of mathematics, from a heavenly designer from Outer Space?"

Well, the search for contact with extra-terrestrial life can go on right here on our own planet. For example, there is a strange arithmetic progression known as FIBONACCI'S SERIES. It goes like this. You start with one and add the next digit in front to get the next and so on. The result and progression is 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, etc. Now just think what our evolutionary scientists, still vainly listening to Outer Space with the hopes to hear from some intelligent life signaling us, what would they do if they heard this arithmetic series of number, carefully patterned coming from the stars? Why they would instantly proclaim - WE'VE FOUND LIFE!

Yet the FIBONACCI message is being heard right here in the wonders of Creation itself. Where is this language of space being transmitted? Well often right in our own backyards. Yes, scientist can hear this signal coming from the lowly plant we call the DAISY. But if that's not enough, why just listen to the message coming from the scales on our pine cones, or if you are in the tropics from the bumps on one's pineapple. But let's get back to our common variety garden daisy.

The tiny florets in its yellow center form detectable spirals. There are twenty-one clockwise, and thirty-four anti clockwise spirals. Now, what's amazing is these two numbers that compose its formation are 21, 34. They are the adjacent numbers in the FIBONACCI'S SERIES!! Now consider the Pine Cone. It shows five spirals one way, and eight the other. Again the numbers 5, 8 which likewise are two adjacent numbers in the FIBONACCI'S SERIES. Is this just a coincidence?

If scientists examine the common pineapple. what do they find? Again, pineapple bumps reveal eight and thirteen spirals. Sunflowers in the middle have thirty-four and fifty-five. Larger blooms have fifty-five and eighty-nine. - now mind you - every single one of these formations and all of these numbers are a part of the succeeding figures in the Series! Now really, could this just be chance? Hardly! The odds are unimaginable to consider, such a progression of mathematical progression. Yet, consistently scientists who do not believe in a Creator God, pass this off as something to be ignored. I'm sure none of you ever heard of this in any scientific studies in your school classrooms.

However, all this points to the most amazing truth - there is indeed contact with our world around us, for all this points to the fact that something or someone has PROGRAMMED our entire chemistry, physics and biology! Such a thing cannot just happen or ever have evolved. And the truth is, scientists know this message from space, but willfully ignore it. However, the Bible has something amazing to say about it. Listen to what God says t you and me in,

Psa 19:1-4 (KJV) "..The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork. 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,"

Did you hear that? The heavens declare God's masterpiece of creation, and note what God said. "Their voice is heard everywhere." What voice? What speech, what language is this? Perhaps it is the language of mathematics, we have just talked about? But there's more. Listen to what God has written in the New Testament about finding such things.

Rom 1:19-22 (TLB) "For the truth about God is known to them instinctively; God has put this knowledge in their hearts. 20 Since earliest times men have seen the earth and sky and all God made, and have known of his existence and great eternal power. So they will have no excuse (when they stand before God at Judgment Day). 21 Yes, they knew about him all right, but they wouldn't admit it or worship him or even thank him for all his daily care. ... The result was that their foolish minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming themselves to be wise without God, they became utter fools instead."

Again did you hear that? God says that the CREATION reveals God's existence. The language of intelligence built right into every single element of this world and universe! But the truth God reveals is that when sinful rebellious humanity sees and hears God's voice in the creation, they reject it, pass it by, and the result is a darkened humanity aimlessly groping and looking to prove God is not there!

However, let's continue our search for the language of space right here on our own planet. As one studies the environment of living things, one finds that in this world we even have plants that count up to two, molecules that think and complex acids with built in memories. Did you know there are crabs that can detect tide-times, algae that operate on exact twelve hour cycles, and even insects, yes insects whose "chirps," per minute, are you ready for this - can give the day's temperature to within a degree or two! What are these living things that have such programming that could never have come through an evolutionary mindless chance existence?

Take for instance the VENUS FLY TRAP. It never closes on the first stimulus of the insect that enters, only on the second. Why does this plant ignore the first touch? One reason from, intelligence is, an insect can get away, if only near the surface. But by the second touch, it has entered more deeply, and the plant can trap every single invader in this manner! What a fool-proof existence. Evolutionary? hardly. What about molecules that think?

Scientists have studied the simple flat worm. In studying them they have trained flat worms to respond to light pulses. However when they cut them in half. each section grew either a new tail or even a new head, and both worms carried with it, the "training response" to the pulse light previously programmed. Can you imagine that! In some unbelievable way the RNA transferred the MEMORY to both! Now what about crabs? Crabs in their particular locale adapt to the specific ebb and flow of the waters about them. They in an uncanny way, are able to time their color changes to the exact tidal times we calculate with difficulty. Yes from crabs to crickets - even the snowy tree cricket with his "chirps," is able to measure the exact temperatures of each day, and sound them out.

What does all this show? It shows you and me and every human beings that we are not alone in this universe, for in Outer Space and beyond exists a loving, caring and omnipotent eternal CREATOR who planned, produced and PROGRAMMED all these things to operate as they do. Imagine that -- A MASTERMIND IN SPACE! Clearly some extra-terrestrial intelligence has superimposed its mind in the most unexpected places. Yes my friend the real language of space is all around us. But the question is, are you listening?

God has given us a most wonderful and interesting world around us, but He has given it to us that we might discover Him who created it. Have you discovered God, if so, you will seek him, and God has a promise for you.

1 Chr 28:9 (NIV) ""And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever."

To help us find the one true God, our Creator, God has given us the Bible, and God has given us a tangible earthly proof of His existence. What is it? God has given us Jesus Christ. Listen to the Word of God and hear what this means to you and me,

Col 1:13-17 (NIV) "For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together."

Heb 1:2 (NIV) "but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe."

Friend, have you acknowledge Christ as your Creator God come in the flesh? The Bible says, in addition to God' fingerprint of Creation in all things, God has given us the greatest proof of His existence - last of all he sent us His Son. Scripture says,

John 1:1-5 ,14 (NIV) "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it."...14-"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."

Yes, Christians have heard and found the real message from Outer Space - it is the voice of God speaking through that which He has made, and it is the written revelation of God presented to us as found alone in the Christian Bible, that confirms His existence. But now friend, it is imperative that you understand this. God no longer is appearing to men in any way to tangibly touch the senses. Christ is the last appearance of God before He comes again in judgment to destroy all things that are not in accord with His harmonious will. For, the warning and promise of the Bible is -- judgment awaits all.

Say friend where do you stand? Are you like the multitudes of deaf ears who exist with darkened minds, vainly searching for evolutionary life while ignoring God's voice and signals around us? Are you one who has had no place for God and Jesus Christ? Your life is simply without God, living only for yourself?

The truth is you will not be guiltless, for God says "you are without excuse!" The only logical conclusion of all this is, yes we have found life. Extra-terrestrial life, that is our Creator, who programmed and ordered all living things. Let us find Him, acknowledge Him, and bow before Him in worship and adoration - for in doing so like the tiny creatures and plants, we will fulfill what we too were programmed for.

Have you come to realize this truth? Everyone of us by Creation have been programmed to love, worship and serve our Creator now and for eternity. But in our sin and rebellion, we have chosen to say no to this purpose of existence.

In the process, we have gone our own way to our own dismay, disillusionment and destruction. But, when we return to the Maker of our souls, and follow the reason for our existence, God brings about a wonderful transformation that brings us the greatest peace, joy and fulfillment life can ever bring.

Friend, turn to Christ, call upon him right now and His voice from Heaven will speak to your heart.
