...Well today on the program I'm going to talk about something most of us cannot even pronounce! It is a subject of considerable interest these days in the world of science and faith, and such a worthy topic to study in our quest to know more about our world, God's Word and its relationship to busy thinking people like you and me. So before I introduce my topic today, we'll pause and listen to this moment of music, after which I'll return to talk about… "SINOSAUROPTERYX PRIMA!"…

… If one watches the news concerning scientific discoveries and interest, you'll find our evolutionary friends are hard at it to "prove" their theories in any way possible. Well, the latest "proving" theories have found their way to what I believe to be one of the most ludicrous postulations out yet. You see, in the vain quest to verify that all life on earth evolved out of nothing by random chance happenings ¾ evolutionists now claim that dinosaurs eventually evolved into what is our present day "bird" population! Preposterous, ludicrous, of course, but then you've got to hear this one in light of what God has to say about it. Today's message is entitled: SINOSAUROPTERYX PRIMA but before we ruffle some feathers, we'll listen one more time to this moment of music…

… Well, evolutionists are again trying to show that dinosaurs evolved into of all things, "birds!" "Sinosauropteryx," a small dinosaur fossil found in China, is the latest finding which evolutionists claim has the 'awaited evidence' of containing feathers. When this finding was leaked to the news media, it created a fanfare of reports that just about certified the final proof of evolution ¾ one kind evolving into another kind and creating a brand new species of life. But the question asked is ¾"did dinosaurs evolve into birds?"

Well thinking people ought to take notice that the many "media proofs" of evolution are usually later refuted. Unfortunately the press doesn't give it the fanfare of announcement it gives to evolutionary finds. But the questions remains, did dinosaurs eventually evolve into birds as we know them today? Let's begin with what the Bible has to say.

Now I've talked a lot about evolution in my broadcasts. If you've listen for some time, you've been apprised of what the theory of evolution is, and what the theory of creationism is. Just for a refresher though, let's define these in simple terms.

Evolution ¾  is the belief system that teaches there is no Creator, nor creation. Rather, that all life spawned from a primal chaos, where non-living matter combined by random chance, and began the upward process of evolution that brought simple life forms to their present day complexity of living existence. However, opposed to this is the theory of Origins known as Creationism.

Creationism ¾ is the belief system that teaches there is a Creator who brought into existence, all things as we know it today. This belief system is founded upon the writings of the Bible and its teaching of the fiat creation, out of nothing, of all the worlds and universe we know as the space-time continuum.

As one can see, these two theories and belief systems are NOT compatible nor science at all. For science is based only on the observable. Since no one was there or close to it, we must admit all theories of origins are philosophies or attitudes of the mind.  Now, if we stay on this common and safe ground, we will not be led astray into the religious quagmires of confusing faith with facts. So with that said, let's examine this latest idea of the religion of evolution's proposed newest finding that "proves" its theories of origin.

Are our present day birds, the descendents of dinosaurs? Have they found "proof" of this in the China find called "Sinosauropteryx?" Let's first find out what God says about dinosaurs and their origins. Are you aware that the Bible does tell us some things about them? First of all we discover when we read the Bible that "birds" were of all things created ONE DAY BEFORE all the land animals. We read in,

Gen 1:20-31 (NLT)  “And God said, “Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind.” 21 So God created great sea creatures and every sort of fish and every kind of bird. And God saw that it was good. 22 Then God blessed them, saying, “Let the fish multiply and fill the oceans. Let the birds increase and fill the earth.” 23 This all happened on the fifth day."

Notice distinctly, God's Word tells us that "birds" were created as "birds" on the fifth day of creation. They did not evolve out of anything else! Also note that God repeatedly used  the phrase "after its kind." Dr. Henry Morris in his Defender's Study Bible, writes,

"The phrase "after his kind" occurs repeatedly, stressing the reproductive integrity of each land animal kind, of the same sort as that of each plant kind (Genesis 1:11 ,12) and each air animal and water animal (Genesis 1:21 ). All of these reproductive systems are programmed in terms of the biochemical genetic code, utilizing the basic elements of the earth."

This means all life was created as specific species, no crossover permitted. Now AFTER the fifth day of creation we read the following clearly spoken detail,

Gen 1:25-31 (NLT)  “God made all sorts of wild animals, livestock, and small animals, each able to reproduce more of its own kind. And God saw that it was good... This all happened on the sixth day.”

So there you have it! Dinosaurs were land animals, and ALL animal life which roamed the earth, was created on the SIXTH  DAY of Creation! But what is this new finding today that dinosaurs predated birds and are their ancestors? Is there proof?

Evolutionist claim there is with the finding of "Sinosauropteryx Prima," the Nanjing specimen, a small dinosaur fossil remains found in China . In this fossil, which is simply an earthly mold of this small dinosaur remains, well evolutionists say shows that it had feathers, proving of course dinosaurs evolved into birds!

But, what you don't hear is the following research often done on such claims. Permit me to share with you some of them. In a recent "CREATION ex nihilo" Magazine article, Vol. 20 No.2 Jonathan Sarfati reports:

1.       ‘New research shows that birds lack the embryonic thumb that dinosaurs had, suggesting that it is “almost impossible” for the species to be 'closely related.' A team led by bird expert Alan Feduccia, chairman of biology at the University of North Carolina , studied bird embryos under a microscope, and published their study in the journal Science.

2.      A team led by John Ruben, a lung function expert at Oregon State University in Corvallis, analyzed fossil outlines of Sinosauropteryx‘s internal organs. Its ‘bellows like lungs could not have evolved into the high-performance lungs of modern birds.’ Indeed, in reptile lungs, the air is drawn into tiny sacs and breathed out. But birds have a complicated system of air sacs which keep air flowing in one direction through special tubes (parabronchi) in the lung, and blood moves through the lung’s blood vessels in the opposite direction for efficient oxygen uptake, an excellent engineering design.

3.      John Ruben, the lung function expert and ancient bird expert Larry Martin believe that the so-called ‘feather’ traces are actually frayed collagen fibers beneath the skin. Feather expert Alan Brush, University of Connecticut , points out that they ‘lack the organization found in modem feathers.’

Well there you have it! Evolutionary experts themselves refute this claim. Did dinosaurs like the "Sinosauropteryx," the small dinosaur fossil found in China , show proof of the evolution of birds from these terrible lizards? Hardly, yet you rarely hear the refutation even by evolutionists themselves. The point of the matter is this. God says that sinful fallen mankind will do everything in his corrupted mind to deny his creative beginnings. So much so, that he will invent and believe lies. We read about this in the book of Romans,

Rom 1:18-20 (NLT)  “But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves. 19 For the truth about God is known to them instinctively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts. 20 From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God.”

Peter the apostle also comments on this sinful purposeful rejection of the truth of creation. He writes in his 2^nd epistle,

2 Pet 3:3-5 ¾  “First, I want to remind you that in the last days there will be scoffers who will laugh at the truth [of creation]  and do every evil thing they desire. 4 This will be their argument: “Jesus promised to come back, did he? Then where is he? Why, as far back as anyone can remember, everything has remained exactly the same since the world was first began.” 5 They deliberately forget that God made the heavens by the word of his command….”

Evolution and its follower-promoters will NEVER come up with any proof of this theory of origins because, it simply isn't so! Yet study after study, finding after finding always affirms the fact that everything around us in our space-time continuum is here as a result of the creative acts of an almighty sovereign omnipotent Being called the Creator. Of course to admit that cause us to admit one more major thing ¾ that since we are the creature, formed by the Creator, then we are owned by Him and are accountable to Him. This is where the sinful rebellion of the human race will not accept this fact and truth! To help bury it in our minds, godless humanity has invented the theory of evolution, which by the way not a small number of evolutionary scientists do admit is simply a convenience for living in rejection to God's authority and revealed will in the Bible.

But today the question isn't did dinosaurs evolve into birds, as has not been proven at all. Rather, where do you stand in your understanding of your origins? Have you come to consider the faith of Creationism? Do you realize as God's Word says, that you are one of God's most revered and highest form of creation? Have you come to know that our human history, as God's word reveals is, in a state of eternal peril? Just as many species of life have become extinct as God has permitted, so the human race as we know it today will become extinct too. You see humanity is a completely fallen and corrupted race of beings, who will continually reproduce in this state of depravity as the Bible calls it. That is, until God steps in and in a re-creative act, changes us to become a new being.

Do you realize that is why God allows our fallen, hurtful, corrupt and often ruinous world to go on in this state? We sometimes charge God with "How can a sovereign God allow so much suffering and hurt?" The answer is, so that He can have the time to remake some into a brand new race of beings that will live on for all eternity in the purposeful and meaningful existence God planned from the beginning. Yes, God's plan is found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God is now in the business of RECREATING the human race! But, only of those who give their permission to be remade into the image of the Creator Himself. This is called Christianity! Listen to God's Word,

John 3:5-7 (NLT)  “Jesus replied, “The truth is, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. 6 Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives new life from heaven. 7 So don’t be surprised at my statement that you must be born again.”

Yes, to be "born again," is a biblical phrase that talks about God refashioning our very being into a brand new humanity. You see, all of us from Adam and Eve to this present day are born as a tri-partite being. We are composed of three elements ¾ "body, soul and spirit." It is the soul and spirit that is the real being you and I really are. We simply live in an earth-suit called the body while we are alive on this earth. But, the Bible teaches that when Adam and Eve sinned, a part of them died forever. It was their spirit. That part of them which could commune with God and in effect gave them the continuing ability to live the life of God in them. This is why we die! Our spirits are dead and as such our life simply runs out physically. But when we are born again by faith in Jesus Christ, God gives us something NEW! He plants within our being a NEW SPIRIT, that is alive to God through Jesus Christ. This new spirit is the very life of God that because God is eternal will never die, wear out or become corrupted. The Bible tells us about it. We read in,

Luke 20:34-36 (NLT)  “Jesus replied, “Marriage is for people here on earth. 35 But that is not the way it will be in the age to come. For those worthy of being raised from the dead won’t be married then. 36 And they will never die again… They are children of God raised up to new life.”

1 Cor 15:22 (NLT)  “Everyone dies because all of us are related to Adam, the first man. But all who are related to Christ, the other man, will be given new life.”

1 Pet 1:23 (NLT)  “For you have been born again. Your new life did not come from your earthly parents because the life they gave you will end in death. But this new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.”

You see to be born again is to receive the very life of God. Today our humanity is dying, and everything around us. The 2^nd Law of Thermodynamics is unalterable by human standards. Everything around us, and all matter is wearing out. The complex is reducing through the loss of energy to the simple. The universe is winding down, the sun is running out and your life and mine, unless God steps in, will also one day be gone as we know it.

But the GOOD NEWS of the Bible is God wills to step in and energize us with new life to love Him, live for Him and to turn completely around and to be the very image of God, once created in Adam and Eve before the fall in the Garden of Eden.

Say friend are you a member of this new race of humanity? Are you a part of the 2^nd Adam God has sent, Jesus Christ? You can be if you will put your faith and trust in Him now and for eternity. Here are some simple steps to follow. Believe what God's Word says about you and your future, and God will grant you His gifts. First of all,

1.      ADMIT YOU ARE AS THE BIBLE SAY A SINNER WHO CANNOT SAVE HIMSELF -
 That simply means you agree with God that you are living in rebellion and disobedience to His laws for life and heaven itself, and that there is nothing in and of yourself that you can do or be to please God or pay for the sins you've committed.

2.      BELIEVE THAT GOD HAS REVEALED A PLAN TO SAVE YOU FROM THESE SINS 
Indeed, that is the Bible's Good News. Jesus Christ, is God come in the flesh, who lived a perfect life, and offered it up as full and final payment for the sins of all the human race. From that, God the Father offers to forgive your sins by substituting His Son, Christ Jesus and His death as full payment for them. This is the message of the New Testament. Christ died for our sins.

3.      TRUST GOD'S WORD THAT TELLS YOU OF THE PROMISE OF NEW LIFE IN CHRIST 
It's one thing for our sins to be forgiven, but if we remain sinners by nature which we are, we will just sin again, and again and have no further desire to please and obey God. So trust the truth revealed in the Bible which I've shared with you. Upon receiving the forgiveness of sins, God also grant us Eternal Life, the gift of Christ's life to every soul that repents and trusts Him. This new life is the ability within to please God, and give us the desire to know Him, serve him, and be like Him in all His ways, and to do it with a complete inner joy too! Lastly,

4.      WE MUST PERSONALLY RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST INTO OUR LIVES 
It's not enough to believe all these fact and great promises of God.  The Bible says "the devils believe but tremble." This means the demons also understand these truths and promises, but they are not trusting them. For anyone and everyone to be saved from their sins, they must personally "receive" Christ. To do this, one must of necessity "confess them before God!" How do we do that? Well in a simple prayer of faith, we talk with God. Wherever you are, you can talk with God and he will hear you. But, you must tell Him, that is confess you are a sinner lost and worthy of judgment called Hell. You must ask the Father in Heaven to forgive your sins  by accepting Christ's death on your behalf as He's promised. You must ask God to grant you His new life eternal in Christ. And friend when you do this, either outwardly with words spoken directly to God or words of the mind it doesn't matter, God hears and answers every such prayer!

Yes, the Bible encourages us further with these words,

Rom 10:9-10 (NLT)  “For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.”

Oh the joy of knowing we are new creatures, remade in the matchless image of the Creator God Jesus Christ! One day, when all this world wears out or we ourselves do so physically through death ¾ we have the promise we will NEVER die, for that new life in Christ resides in my soul and will carry me on into a Christ-filled eternity! Say friend are you with me? If not will you right now do business with God? Never mind about the silly claims evolutionists constantly try to come up with. The idea of feathers found on a small dinosaur fossil has been debunked. There is dinosaur skin impressions these days, but no feathers, period! But there is hope and mercy for you in Jesus Christ, that is truth that will last for eternity.

Make the transition today, call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved!

…After the finding of a fossil like remains of a small dinosaur in China called the "Sinosauropteryx"  that had featherlike impressions on its mane, another finding of a similar creature was discovered in Spain . The Spanish fossil includes skin impressions which show the dinosaur had normal scaled skin and NO FEATHERS!  The truth is ¾ birds were created by God one day before dinosaurs, and that's God's Word on it. You decide who you wish to believe.
