“FOR YEARS THERE APPEARS TO BE A COVER-UP OF SOME FINDINGS THAT IF TRUE, WOULD BRING THE WHOLE GRADUALISTIC SCHEME OF EVOLUTION INTO RUINS.”

 I’m Dennis Finnan, host and speaker on the World, the Word & You! Broadcast and in a moment we’ll talk about these mysterious findings near Moab , Utah , that could make the world of evolution spin on its head…

…Every once in a while something new and strange comes along that seems to put a damper in what we may or may not believe is truth. Such recently happened with the resurrection of the old heretical Gnostic manuscripts unearthed in Egypt in the late 20^th century. What made this noteworthy was fiction writer Dan Brown’s explosive novel called the DaVinci Code which heavily relied upon the writings of these ancient mystical teachers who were in effect, religious parasites of Christianity in the 2^nd and 3rd centuries. In his novel he crossed the line by trying to set the novel in an historical background and truth, but failed miserably in that the truth he sited came only from forgotten and heretically proven writings of bogus religionists who neither got history right, nor truth as well. For some time, it created a stir that only recently I believe has been shown to be the greatest hoax of the century when it comes to truth. However, the scare was real in that many thought what the Church and the Bible teaches, might have been wrong all along and with that, would have come the demise of Christianity itself. However, I happily report no such thing occurred, rather the opposite, as true faith in Jesus Christ as God and Savior was simply reinforced and verified.

However another event occurred in the late 20^th century that seems to have had no publication or coverage that if equally true, could cause the world of evolution to stand on its head and collapse. Yet those who know about it desperately try to discredit it through refusal to consider the claims it presents. What am I talking about? Well it’s mainly known by a few as the MALACHITE MAN, a fossil dig, found in the early 1990’s near the Dinosaur National Monument . If this finding is real and can be proven true to reports – then there is evidence of human beings buried by the great universal worldwide catastrophe reported in the Bible as Noah’s Flood. Now following another moment of music I’ll tell you all about it…

… Perhaps one of the most disbelieved reports of human history is the biblical account of a worldwide catastrophe known as the flood of Noah’s Day. The account of this is found in Genesis 6-9 in the Judeo-Christian Bible. In this report we are told of the following facts, I catalog for you:

1. Following the creation of all things including human beings, after thousands of years, the sinfulness and rebellion of man against their Creator God caused Him to destroy the world He made with all that was in it. (Gen 6:5-7,13)

2. God is a loving God and chose to save alive a portion of humanity and a sampling selection of all land creatures. Among them, were eight people who were the immediate family of a man named Noah. He alone walked with God, and served Him in obedience. Thus, God blessed him with continuance of life. (Gen. 7:1)

3. God delayed His planned destruction for 100 years, in the hopes other human beings would repent and turn back to God in obedience to His Word and will. This did not happen, so God destroyed the world with a massive flood that came from a complete orchestrated change of the earth’s atmosphere and geographical structure. (Gen. 7:11-21)

4. After almost one year after the Ark of Noah floated on the waters that completely covered the earth, God caused the dry ground to reappear, mountains form and rise, and deep valleys to appear to contain the waters of the earth. Yes, a brand new world, unlike what Noah lived in previously, was now his as the ark rested on dry ground. When all was safe for human habitation again, God set them all free to begin life again -- man, animals, birds and all creeping things. (Gen. 8:1-4, 16-19)

This account in the Book of Genesis of a worldwide catastrophic flood, is completely rejected by those who believe in evolution, for it contradicts all that they teach about evolutionary Uniformitarianism – which is the belief that there never was a universal catastrophic destruction of life on earth by flood, rather just a gradual change, through upward evolution of the species to finally form mankind. Although the earth for the evolutionist is about  4 ½ billion years old, the entrance of modern man is of recent origin to their evolutionary chain of events. Now the evolutionary view of the history of man, accepted by conventional archaeology, is that Homo sapiens evolved roughly 30,000 to 50,000 years ago in Eurasia . Later, humans crossed the Bering Straits land bridge into North America around 15,000 years ago. Thus, there cannot be any human remains, or indigenous man-made artifacts in North or South America older than around this date. For man to be found earlier than this, would throw the evolutionary theory of the origin of life and mankind into the trash basket of science. Well, that is precisely what may soon happen with findings such as I want to tell you about right now.

For in the early years of the 1990’s in hard sandstone near the Dinosaur National Monument near Vernal, Utah, a discovery was found of fossilized human remains of eight human beings, mostly women and children. This find was unique in that the tale is told of a copper mine excavator unearthing these remains in hardened sandstone some 54 feet below the surface of the earth. The evidence appears that these eight human beings’ remains of woman and children were buried rapidly by some horrible catastrophe. A university anthropologist, a newspaper reporter and photographer arrived at the scene as the mining excavation was halted. The lower halves of two human skeletons were taken to a university for study. What’s so amazing is the rock formation in which these people were buried is the Dakota Sandstone, a member of the Lower Cretaceous supposedly around 140 million years old. This was the time evolutionists claim dinosaurs roamed the earth and man did not exist! Now think about it – how would evolutionary thinking be affected by this discovery of truly human bones, or sophisticated man-made artifacts found deep in sedimentary rock layers of the earth? Why evolutionist themselves have often declared that if true, the whole idea of Uniformitarian evolution of life would be tossed into the scientific wastebasket of theories. However this is what they face, and their response has been either highly critical or simply to ignore it. Now, these findings of what is called MALACHITE MAN, tell us two important things:

1. MANKIND IS EITHER NOT AS OLD AS POSTULATED BY EVOLUTIONISTS, AND AS SUCH THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION ITSELF IS IN ERROR.

2. THE FINDINGS OF THESE FOSSILIZED HUMAN SKELETONS INDICATES A MASSIVE WORLDWIDE CATASTROPHE  WIPED THEM AWAY.

The latter would easily verify Noah’s flood of ancient years possibly 5000-7000 years ago according to biblical extrapolation of years. And, all this simply denies evolution and verifies biblical creationism. Now here are the findings of these human remains:

1. The fossilized bones of these people were found at a depth in solid rock some 54 feet deep.

2. The bones were encased in extremely hard sandstone.

3. Some of the bones were heavily mineralized -- the bones were replaced with malachite (a green mineral) and turquoise.

4. There was no evidence of intrusive burial for there were no tunnels that would provide access to this area and depth in the hardened stone.

5. The rock encasing the bones is considered 150 million years old by mainstream geologists.

6. The bones were in the same formation as nearby Dinosaur National Monument .

7. The bones were found only a couple years ago in the 1990’s

8. Malachite Man is different from the " Moab Man" and "similar" finds of years past in the 1970’s.

Now saying all this, indicates that the human remains discovered there were buried by the same catastrophic flood that buried the dinosaurs nearby, and both must have lived at the same time.

These human fossil remains were articulated, meaning some form of rapid burial. They definitely were not buried by man in an Indian grave site as evolutionists try to explain, nor are these later finds in the 1990’s the same as an earlier find in the 1970’s of a true Indian burial site some 15 feet below the surface in a soft sandstone area.

As it stands, nothing has been done with the remains and find, and they were never subjected to technical analysis, and no scientific report was released to the press. It’s just been quietly shut up, and passed by. Did the location of the human bones contrary to evolutionary timing, scare off evolutionists from a serious study and dating analysis? Perhaps so, and as such we cannot be conclusive about the findings except to report this strange unearthing of human remains in or near the Dinosaur formations of the area. There is talk that “Malachite man” is a part of the earlier findings of the bogus “Moab Man” which has been dated by scientific study as about 200-300 years old. However, the newer finding was not in the same soft sandstone depth of 15 feet but about a good 100 feet away in hardened sandstone which bulldozers almost collapsed in trying to dig the site.

All this simply points to the truth, that when archaeology makes a find, it rarely points to evolution, rather to creationism and an early age of the earth, not millions or billions of years old. Christian’s believe the earth is at best, no more than 10,000 years old and the story of Adam and Eve’s creation by God, is not a fairy tale but an historical reality which occurred at the same period of time as Genesis One indicates. The Bible says,

Gen 1:1 ( NIV )  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Gen 1:26-27 ( NIV )  Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Exo 20:11 ( NIV )  For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

There has never been a proven event in the history of man’s study of the earth and universe that conclusively proves the billions and millions of years of age of the universe, solar system, planet earth of human existence evolutionists claim! In fact, the Bible has never been disproved, only criticized and rejected simply on the basis of faith.

Yes my friend, evolution although bandied about as proven science, is not science at all! No one can prove evolution, for it never existed, and it is simply a philosophical way of life to reject the existence of a Creator God who rules over all. Evolution is the false and faulty science of atheism and agnosticism. Yet more and more discoveries in the universe seem to be showing God’s Word is truth, and evolution is a false philosophy for life.

However, you must decide my friend. Both Creationism and Evolution must be taken by faith. You must believe in either one simply by your willingness to accept the postulated theories that frankly have no scientific support. However, which ever one you accept, both have everlasting consequences!

For instance, if you accept evolution which teaches there is no god and you are your own god who one day will die and cease to exist – if you are wrong, the Bible says you will physically die but live on in spirit and go to a place called Hell to suffer God’s wrath forever and ever.

BUT… if you put your faith in the Bible that has never been proven wrong or error, and believe God’s Word that God created all things and more, loves the human race He made, and that He sent his Son Jesus Christ to pay for our sins, who’s death He offers as a sin payment to all who trust in Him alone – why you lose nothing in this life, and gain everything in eternity.

To be a true bonafide Christian today, by surrendering your life to God through faith in Jesus Christ’s Person and work on the cross at Calvary, can only bring you blessing and joy in this life.

WHY? HOW? Well think about it. By believing in the fact that you are a created being of the highest order, and that God has a plan for your life here and in the hereafter -- well your life then has meaning and purpose. But if you accept evolution, you must believe you are only here by chance, with no purpose for existence or tomorrow, and nothing in life is a plan for you except what you can make of your miserable existence, only to die like a dog in the end from decrepitating old age and suffering disease. I honestly don’t know how anyone can go through life knowing it is purposeless. But being a Christian changes all that.

Friend why not place your faith in that which cannot be proven wrong and has proven to all who do, to yield a meaningful life of joy, happiness, and inner contentment and more the promise of a bright and forever tomorrow! Listen to God’s Word on the matter…

Isa 41:10 ( NIV )  So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Rom 8:31-32 ( NIV )  What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

  Phil 4:13 ( NIV )  I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Now if that is not enough there is more of God’s promises, to all who reach and receive Jesus Christ as the Savior and God,

Psa 121:7-8 ( NIV )  The LORD will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life; 8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Rom 8:6 ( NIV )  The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace;

Jer 17:10 ( NIV )  "I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve."

 Indeed, God’s Word is filled with His promises to those who believe in Him and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior from their sins and as their God whom they worship and adore. His faithfulness, goodness and love removes fears and doubts and gives strength for the trials of life no human being is spared from while here. What strength, what power does an agnostic or atheist have in and of themselves? The answer is nothing!  -- only a fearful looking forward to probably a painful horrible death in old age, if one makes it that far.

Now I want to challenge anyone listening to take a 21 day test. I believe this is an honest test that will undoubtedly reveal if you are an honest seeker. Open a Bible in an easy reading version such as the New International, New American Standard or New Living translation if possible, and read through the Gospel of John. Now before you do, you must in all sincerity do so to find out if God really exists and if He does, that He is interested personally in you. So to do this, pray this prayer whether you believe in God or not:

"O God I want to truly know if You exist and what I am to believe. If you are real and the Bible is true, I want to know for sure of your existence and whether You care for me. As I read the Bible, I make this promise. If you will reveal Yourself to me in my mind and heart so that I can trust in You and Your Son Jesus Christ, I will believe and follow You. If you do not exist I firmly believe I will finish the Book of John being the same person I am today. I pray this prayer in all sincerely expecting You to speak to me through these Words if You exist. Amen."

 Now if you will take this 21 day challenge and every day read one chapter in less than a month you will find out whether evolution is true or creationism is true. But if you refuse to try this, it only indicates your faith in evolution is biased, and really just an excuse for not wanting God in your life. Then when death comes, you will die and be under His wrath and judgment for all eternity. It’s your choice. Jesus still speaks when He said,

Mat 11:28 -30 ( NIV )  "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

The finding of Malachite Man, the fossilized human remains buried deep in the hardened Dakota Sandstone near Dinosaur National Monument surely puts evolution on its head, but since there is no verification and much speculation we will have to leave this to the future to tell. Nonetheless, this find points to the fact that one day in man’s sinful past, God sent a global flood to destroy the wickedness of mankind on the earth, and to save just a few, eight souls, who repented and turned to God in their day. I trust and pray you will turn to God now revealed clearly in Jesus Christ. He alone is your only Savior and Lord, now and for eternity. May He seek you and find you.
