 I’m Dennis Finnan, host and speaker on the World, the Word & You! Broadcast and in a moment we’ll talk about the tragedy of homosexuality and what is happening in our nation to make its tragedy a national affair…

…It seems a day doesn’t go by that we don’t hear some type of promotion from the “Gay Spin Zone” of the “glory and goodness of gayness,” trumping yet another realm of American heterosexual life. Why everywhere you look, especially the media and TV are bringing the homosexual out of the closet. Take for instance the popular TV show, "Law & Order" which kicked off its New Year shows with actress Elisabeth Rohm stating she is a “Lesbian.” Then you have the raunchy adult cartoon show called "the Simpsons" riding the “gay” bandwagon. Even daytime TV soaps such as “All My Children” now popularize as normal and attractive, the homosexual life. Moreover, we have on Showtime Network TV, the program called “Queer as Folk,” which glorifies and follows the lives of five gay men in Pittsburgh . And not to be outdone, even "Marvel Comics” began a new comic called 'The Rawhide Kid,' a straight Marvel character since the 1950s, who now has exposed himself as a practicing homosexual. Still more, we now have many other popularized TV programs that openly promote homosexuality and its lifestyle such as, “Will and Grace," "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," and "Boy Meets Boy." Where does this all end? The answer is, from Hollywood , the entertainment media, and secular education -- all are pushing hard the homosexual lifestyle to be rooted in the heart of Americans, as a wholesome, attractive and sinless lifestyle.  All in the hopes of our youngest generation embracing it or at the least heartily approving of it as normal for others.

Indeed, homosexuality today is so largely promoted, that for anyone to speak out against it, well, they are immediately labeled a bigoted and mentally ill ‘homophobic.’ Our schools today even teach our youngest children of the danger of becoming one. Say what’s a homophobic? Well in the language of today, it is a description of any individual who does not support and encourage the Homosexual lifestyle as a healthy, upbeat, and a proper alternate sexuality for personal and public life. Yes, this “Rainbow” morality is nothing short of sexual perversion and deviance today, and promotion scandal of the 21^st century. To date, anyone who stands up or speaks out against it, is labeled “homophobic,” or considered mentally unstable with a hate-filled mentality. Well, I’ve got news for anyone who believes, teaches or promotes this – I for one believe homosexuality is a grave sin against God and also society! Does this make me “homophobic?” Well, if I’m homophobic, I know I’ve got good company, for do you know that God Himself, the Creator of the human race, stands with me, or better yet, I stand with Him against this deviant lifestyle popularized and promoted these days.

Now following the election of 2004, there was “good news” afoot. Red state or blue, north or south, voters around the country found at least one thing they could agree on -- voting for legislation to ban same-sex marriages. In all, eleven states issued bans against same sex marriages. These were: Arkansas , Georgia , Kentucky , Michigan , Mississippi , Montana , Ohio , Oklahoma , North Dakota , Oregon and Utah . All voted for constitutional amendments restricting marriage to a man and woman and note they all passed by substantial margins.

Indeed, there is positive resistance against mainstream homosexuality becoming equal with heterosexuality. In the push to legitimize homosexuality, proponents work hard in the area of our children and their schooling. Unfortunately they are being successful with a growing number of the younger generation who innocently are exploring this perverted lifestyle to their ruin and ultimate death. Many of them now believe the lie that homosexuality among men and women is a good thing for American society. However friend, I’m here today to tell you, as God’s servant, it isn’t, and worse, it not only brings about the death of those who practice it, but even those who promote and protect it for national life. Let me tell you why, now.

First off, we must realize that all of us homosexual or heterosexual, are not independent souls. We live in a borrowed universe and world, given to us by none other than the Creator God Himself. Now, I realize many irreligious in the nation and world laugh at that, for they don’t believe there is either a God who created all things and is omnipotently managing time and eternity, or they simply don’t care! However, an ostrich can stick its head in the sand when danger or offensive action befalls it, but that doesn’t change the facts and reality around them. Now for those who do believe there is a God over us, and for those who are not sure, but are willing to listen to what He has to say about their lives and living, listen up...

Let’s define this thing called homosexuality. Homosexuality is a reference to the physical practice of individuals of the same sex, practicing sexual relationship, normally reserved for heterosexual relationships. But homosexuality involves more than this. It is also the deviant and morally degenerate practice of perverted and often brutal sadistic methods for sexual gratification abhorred by normal decent humanity, not to mention God Himself.

Clearly, according to the Bible and the normal mind, such acts are against nature, shameful and degrading. However, to speak out against such practices today one is labeled “homophobic,” a nonsense term applied to heterosexual Christians and people who abhor this perverted lifestyle and living.

Now what is wrong with this personal choice, for a man to love a man and seek sexual gratification from him, or a woman to love a woman, called lesbianism, and seek sexual gratification from her? The answer is, the Creator God Himself says it is terribly wrong!

Make no mistake, and don’t listen to any nonsense to the contrary -- in today’s language, God is the chief “homophobic,” and every decent law abiding normal human being should be too! Listen now to what God says about it in His Word, the Bible. We see first of all…

1.  GOD IS EXTREMELY ANGRY WITH AND ACTUALLY SHOWS HATRED TOWARDS THOSE WHO UNREPENTANTLY PRACTICE THE SIN OF HOMOSEXUALITY 

From cover to cover, the Bible warns people everywhere not to practice homosexuality, because God’s anger and wrath are against such lifestyles and living. Hear now from God’s Word which warns us of God’s anger toward those who practice homosexuality.

Gen 1:27 (NLT)  So God created people in his own image; God patterned them after himself; male and female he created them.

Lev 18:22 (NLT)  “Do not practice homosexuality; it is a detestable sin.

Lev 20:13 (NLT)  “The penalty for homosexual acts is death to both parties. They have committed a detestable act and are guilty of a capital offense.

Rom 1:24-26 (NLT)  So God let them go ahead and do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. 25 Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies… 26 That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other.

1 Cor 6:9-10 (NLT)  Don’t you know that those who do wrong will have no share in the Kingdom of God ? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin… adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals… none of these will have a share in the Kingdom of God .

1 Tim 1:10 (NLT)  These laws are for people who are sexually immoral, for homosexuals…  and for those who do anything else that contradicts the right teaching

Jude 1:7 (NLT)  And don’t forget the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with sexual immorality and every kind of sexual perversion. Those cities were destroyed by fire and are a warning of the eternal fire that will punish all who are evil.

One cannot read the Bible without coming to the honest and forthright conclusion, God has given us a stern warning that His anger, wrath and hatred is zeroed in on anyone of His creatures willfully abandoning the natural lifestyle of heterosexuality.

Notice secondly, what God said, additionally, as a result of anyone practicing it, or more, approving of it and accepting it socially.

2.  GOD’S WARNS AND PROMISES JUDGMENT AGAINST PRACTICING HOMOSEXUALS AND ALL SOCIETIES THAT PUBLICLY ACCEPT HOMOSEXUALITY 

 Did you note that God says homosexuality is a sin worthy of the death penalty to men and women who practice this sinful relationship? (Lev. 20:13) Yes, in ancient Israel there were to be no living and practicing homosexuals who came out of the closet. God demanded they be executed for defiling the land and society God approved of, for His blessing. Also, Jude in the New Testament (Jude 1:7) as well as Moses in the Old Testament reported that all nations that openly approved of it, or allowed and protected the practice of this sinful evil, were judged with destruction and even death! Listen again to God’s distinct words,

Gen 19:13 (NLT)  For we [angels] will destroy [ Sodom ] completely. The stench of the place has reached the LORD, and he has sent us to destroy it.”

Psa 9:17 (NLT)  The wicked will go down to the grave. This is the fate of all the nations who ignore God.

Friend, it’s a serious thing to openly flout God’s desires and rules for living in His universe and world. God has a right to declare the living arrangements for us, and He as done so! It’s clear, God wants men to be men, and women to be women, and for them to find companionship and even morally acceptable sexual gratification within the confines of a heterosexual monogamous marriage only! All other is outside of this and is sin, and especially the practice of homosexuality.  Now, this doesn’t stop here, for God warns further that all who continue to practice such sins will not only find physical death, but in eternity they will be separated from God forever by being cast into Hell itself! We see this in the third point from the Bible,

3. GOD WARNS ALL PRACTICING HOMOSEXUALS, THEY WILL BE CAST INTO HELL [THE LAKE OF FIRE ] ITSELF! 

How serious a thing it is to not only lose a healthy body in this world, but to have both body, soul and spirit destroyed in the next.  That is too high a price to pay for any gratification, perverted or not. But God warns of this again and again, and we should be teaching this to children to warn them to stay away from exploring such lifestyles.

1 Cor 6:9-10 (NLT)  Don’t you know that those who do wrong will have no share in the Kingdom of God ? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin… adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals… none of these will have a share in the Kingdom of God .

Jude 1:7 (NLT)  And don’t forget the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with sexual immorality and every kind of sexual perversion. Those cities were destroyed by fire and are a warning of the eternal fire that will punish all who are evil.

Yes, the eternal fires of Hell in a place called “the Lake of Fire ,” await all unrepentant practicing homosexuals. Indeed, it seems God’s express hatred for violating His law of life, that He wants operational among His creation, carries the ultimate price. So is God homophobic? You bet He is! But this homophobia is not a mental sickness, or social disorder. Rather, it is a wholesome and righteous thing because that is what God Himself is. There is no sin in God no evil or wickedness, only purity, holiness and perfection. So, God sets the standard for what is right or wrong, not public opinion and the changing whims of a sinful society. Society can cry out against all those who condemn the practice of homosexuality, it can persecute them and ridicule them, but the truth is those who speak out, and stand up against the rising tide of godlessness called homosexuality – have the one true God on their side. The question is where do you stand? I tend to think, many Christians and other law abiding citizens of the world and our nation, do not approve of this open and sick life style. I say sick because in most cases you do not hear what must go on to practice homosexuality. In fact, on today’s broadcast, I won’t mention the things these people do among themselves, in order to be sexually gratified. It’s not only ghastly, it is criminal! Yet God warns again and again that those who practice this lifestyle will suffer for their sins even before their physical death and eternal judgment arrives. Thus the Bible says,

4. THOSE THAT PRACTICE HOMOSEXUALITY WILL PAY IN PART FOR THEIR SINS HERE AND NOW! – Is this true? Listen carefully now to what the bible says in,

Rom 1:21-28 (NLT)  Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks… The result was that their minds became dark and confused... 24 So God let them go ahead and do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. 25 Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies… 26 That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. 27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men and, as a result, suffered within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved. 28 When they refused to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done.

Note verse 27 which says, “as a result, they suffered within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved.” Here God says that those who practice homosexuality, men or women, will receive a judgment “within themselves.” Today we know this is true with the frightening AIDS sickness that was born within the homosexual community. It is a flesh rotting disease, with no cure in sight which mainly comes to those who defile themselves by the gross perverted ways of practicing homosexuality. Why in the Old Testament, God warned that a destructive penalty would comes for certain sins, among which was homosexuality. Listen again to the Word of God,

Deu 28:58-61 (NLT)  “If you refuse to obey all the terms of this law that are written in this book, and if you do not fear the glorious and awesome name of the LORD your God, 59 then the LORD will overwhelm both you and your children with indescribable plagues. These plagues will be intense and without relief, making you miserable and unbearably sick. 60 He will bring against you all the diseases of Egypt that you feared so much, and they will claim you. 61 The LORD will bring against you every sickness and plague there is, even those not mentioned in this Book of the Law, until you are destroyed.

Without a doubt, all humanity that grossly violates God’s Word for life and living, especially with the approval of the sin of sodomy now called homosexuality, God promised terrible plagues and incurable sicknesses would eat their flesh and life away. No one can deny AIDS and other STD’S so prevalent today are a testimony to God’s wrathful promises. Oh, we can stick our heads in “the sand of life” and refuse to believe it, but there it is, and here it is too. The question is how will you and we as a nation respond? The first act all bible believing Christians must do in response to the GAY SPIN ZONE world of American life, is.

1. BE VOCAL AND STAND UP AGAINST ALL PROMOTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF HOMOSEXUALITY 

Every Christian and non-Christian who is heterosexual and believes in promoting a wholesome, God-fearing society, must stand up and speak out again all push for promotion and protection of the wickedness of practicing homosexuality. Have you?

2. Every Christian and non-Christian must refute the lies and false information being disseminated in schools, the media, and now corporate America 

Homosexuality is not, I repeat. is not a genetic result. It is a learned response, and the goal of organized homosexuals in America today, is to encourage every young child to explore this lifestyle when they are young and impressionable enough to be enslaved by it. Hence the push to enter schools and organizations such as the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Big Brothers and Sisters, organizations, that mentor children. We must challenge the lies now being considered as truth. Thirdly,

3. We must use our voting rights to defeat homosexual initiatives and agendas that seek community, state and national approval and acceptance of their deviant lifestyle 

Furthermore, we must regularly teach our children what the Bible says about sexual matters, and warn them of experimenting in all sexual sins, including the sin of homosexuality. Therefore, we must be vocal and dispel the idea that Gay rights are Civil rights. They are not. We should always refer to homosexuality as “sin,” not a sickness or different lifestyle. Fourthly,

 4. Do not tolerate the approval of and promotion of homosexuality, especially in public school sex education classes, that indoctrinate and pervert the minds of impressionable children - Finally,

5. Do not PERSECUTE homosexual men or women, they have the same human rights as any other citizen, but do not tolerate OR ACCEPT their sins IN THE PUBLIC REALM -  

To do this we must work to educate our families and society to the truth about this sin and the penalties God warns will come to any people and their nation that continue to defy God’s Word on the matter. Find ways and means to love those caught in the sinful web of homosexuality; and support groups that help them to abandon it. The good news is since it is not a genetic result, all practicing homosexuals can be saved from their sins and given a new heart and life to turn away from the practice of it and be pleasing to God.

I’ll tell you this my friend, if we continue to promote, protect and pander to the societal approval of homosexuality, there is a time coming when God will strike this nation for its sin, no different than the ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. God warned their destruction would come and it did and the main reason was its open practice of homosexuality. Now the question is where do you stand? Are you the silent majority that sits on the side lines as no more than 2-3% of the population, the homosexual crowd, move to destroy our nation’s heritage and divine protection? Without a doubt America is being seduced and deceived by the homosexual agenda in a “blitzkrieg” of indoctrination from public schools to our entertainment media, to accept and even consider practicing this wicked lifestyle. This calculated agenda has one goal -- to infect the children of America , and once this is done, the agenda of homosexuality has won. Now quickly here is the overall agenda of the homosexual community operational right now before your eyes.

1. The implementation of the homosexual curriculum at all levels of education.

2. The lowering of the age of consent for homosexual acts.

3. Custody, adoption and foster care rights for homosexuals.

4. The redefinition of the family to include homosexual domestic partnerships.

5. Access to all boy/girl programs such as the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts of America , and Big Brothers and Sisters (two have fallen).

6. Affirmative action for all homosexuals and their chosen lifestyles.

7. The inclusion of sex-change operations under a universal health care program.

All these things and more, are the weapons of warfare used today to change America, to ruin and destroy what made us great in decades past. The question is will you allow them to do this by your continued silence? It’s time to draw the line, be vocal, and speak out. You and I owe it to our children and grandchildren, to protect their future. Meanwhile, we must never stop declaring the love of God for all sinners, homosexuals included. God loves us all, enough to die for our sins and to take on Himself our penalty of eternal death.

Yes, this is the wonderful story of the cross of Jesus Christ. Christ died for sinners, Christ rose from the dead to offer His full pardon and forgiveness. But none can have it until they surrender their lives and hearts to Jesus Christ, acknowledging Him as their Lord God and Savior from their sins.

Have you acknowledged this my friend? Are you saved? Yes, homosexuals, adulterers, murderers, thieves, idolaters and every sort of disobedience to God’s Law -- those who practice it can be forgiven and saved from their sins! Therefore, all the more we must preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For God, before His judgment falls, will save any who will hear, believe and come to Him. Thank God Jesus still saves, but the question is -- has He saved you? Turn to Christ today!

…Friends, the calculated planned “homosexualization” of America has begin and unless stopped, it will literally destroy this righteous nation! The tool for destruction is first “desensitization,” followed by “indoctrination,” and then finally “participation.” May God give all who hear, eyes to see, a heart that yearns for God, and a desire to uphold righteousness. In this, is God’s ultimate reward.
