INVASION FROM OUTER SPACE?

WE’VE ALL HEARD OF THE ‘MEN IN BLACK, GREEN FIREBALLS & BLOOD, STARGATE, STAR TREK, SETI, TALONS’ AND THE LIKE. WHAT DO ALL THESE THINGS HAVE IN COMMON? THE ANSWER IS MANKIND’S FASCINATION WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTRATERRESTRIAL LIFE FROM OUTER SPACE”

 I’m Dennis Finnan, host and speaker on the World, the Word  & You! Broadcast, and in a moment we’ll talk about a real to come, literal invasion from outer space, predicted long ago…

…After last fall’s tragic terrorist attack against the great nation of the United States by Islamic cowards and haters of mankind, no one wonders anymore about whether or not America will ever fight another war. Indeed, we are at “war,” a specific war against the terrorists of the world who prey on innocent people and delight to see their deaths through massive destruction. However, do you know that the nation of America and for that matter every nation on the face of the earth has been at constant war since the beginning of time? Yes, there is going on right now, unknown to most humanity, a “war of the ages,” that is being fought mainly in the heavens, and the Bible tells us one day it will literally come down to the earth in a massive invasion of our planet. Are you aware of this, and do you know how to protect yourself against its devastating destruction it will bring upon the earth? Well after another musical pause, I’ll tell you all about it…

… If you are a student of the Christian Bible, you would be aware to some degree of what I’m about to share with the listening audience. But the truth is, most folks know little to nothing about a coming invasion from outer space ¾ that is not a fantasy of Hollywood, but a real life reality! Yes, I’ve not gone bonkers, as a pastor and student of the Bible, it is plain to anyone who studies it, God has predicted that a massive extraterrestrial invasion of non-human life forms will come down upon the earth, to wreck havoc and death on the people who are alive in that day. This is no idle talk, or symbolic concept. Real extraterrestrial life will invade the earth to destroy and kill all they can, and God predicted this, thousands of years ago.  Now let’s open the Bible to the place where such an invasion is foretold. We read in,

Rev 12:1-6 (NLT)  Then I [John] witnessed in heaven an event of great significance. I saw a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon beneath her feet, and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was pregnant, and she cried out in the pain of labor as she awaited her delivery. 3 Suddenly, I witnessed in heaven another significant event. I saw a large red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, with seven crowns on his heads. 4 His tail dragged down one-third of the stars, which he threw to the earth. He stood before the woman as she was about to give birth to her child, ready to devour the baby as soon as it was born. 5 She gave birth to a boy who was to rule all nations with an iron rod. And the child was snatched away from the dragon and was caught up to God and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where God had prepared a place to give her care for 1,260 days.

Without a doubt the book or Revelation contains much symbolism, but it also contains factual truth and reality. This passage in Revelation 12, speaks of the beginning of time when a war broke out in Heaven between the Creator God and a portion of His angelic hosts or angels. The leader of this rebellion was a creature called Lucifer, later to be known as the Devil or Dragon. He seduced a third of the angel creation to join him in rebelling against God. Thus, war broke out in the heavenlies. We further read the words of Jesus who said,

Luke 10:18 (NLT)   “I saw Satan falling from heaven as a flash of lightning!”

Ezek 28:14 (NLT)  “I ordained and anointed you [Lucifer] as the mighty angelic guardian. You had access to the holy mountain of God and walked among the stones of fire.

Scripture goes into great detail about this fall of Lucifer, now Satan, from His high position as leader of all the angels (Isa. 14:12-15; Ezek 28:12-17). But in a moment of wicked pride, which began sin in the universe, Satan thought he was equal to God, and demanded the same for himself. This wickedness or sin, was an affront to the sovereignty and holiness of the Creator God, who cast Satan out of His heavenly throne. We noted that a third of these angels that sinned with him were cast down to the earth. Since the time of Adam and Eve’s life in the Garden, fallen angels have had access to this world and humanity, following the fall of the human race by the same manner as Satan. Yes, pride and self-righteousness entered the human race when Adam and Eve partook of the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. Upon disobeying God, they chose to unhook the protected lifeline of His care, love, and protection. Decidedly to go it alone on their own supposed abilities, as Satan seduced them, they would live out their lives and die, as the penalty for all sin in the universe is everlasting death.

Now since mankind followed Satan, God in His grace had a plan that applied only to His highest creation, created in His image, the human race. Fallen into sin and helplessly floundering in it till death would come to the poor creatures, God stepped in and provided a way of escape for all who would embrace God’s plan. I’m sure you know something about the story, I hope.

The Bible tells the wonderful good news, that God Himself became a man, a perfect man, and a sinless man who would die for the sins of the world, thus freeing the human race, that is those who would accept this plan personally, from their penalty of death. God did this more than 2000 years ago in the Person and through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Following His death for the sins of the world, God raised Jesus from the dead, testifying to all that His death was acceptable justice for the sins of the world of humanity.

However, our sins could not be applied to Christ’s death until, each individual would come to recognize they were sinners in God’s sight worthy of death, and that God’s plan of sending Jesus as their Savior and Lord was the only way to be reconciled to God. Those who accept Christ as their Lord and Savior and call upon Him to save them are indeed exempt from the penalty of sin, which is death eternal and everlasting to come.

Now back to the fallen angelic world. We discovered from the Word of God that the Creator planned no salvation for the fallen angels. One day they all will suffer the final punishment in Hell, a place especially prepared for them called the LAKE OF FIRE. Yes, God made Hell first of all for these undying everlasting creatures called fallen angels, but since they dragged the human race into their nefarious and wicked plan of rebellion, God must send all unsaved, unforgiven humanity there too, upon death, to suffer for all eternity as their souls and spirit were created immortal and cannot cease to exist.

Now, since Satan and His fallen angels were cast out of God’s heavenly abode and throne, which is described in the Bible as the “third Heaven,” (2 Cor. 12:2) Satan has been roaming the universe the “second heaven,” and the earth and its atmosphere, the “first heaven”(Rev. 21:1) since the beginning of mankind’s existence. What’s he been doing? Well, we all know it is to corrupt, destroy and ruin God’s creation and creatures called mankind. Of course, he’s done a pretty good job of it too as history records. He has incited riots, wars, corruption, civil disobedience, strife, abuse, inflicted disease, deformities and the like upon the human race, and brought death to those who have openly joined him. Indeed, an unseen “war of the ages” rages around us.

However, in Revelation twelve we are told, that just before Jesus Christ comes back to the earth, to reclaim the earth and universe for His exclusive control and rulership, the obedient elect angels who followed God, including the chief archangel Michael, shall begin the final purge of evil from the heavenlies, by waging a final all out war against Satan and His demon hoards. We further read of this in,

Rev 12:7-12 (NLT)  Then there was war in heaven. Michael and the angels under his command fought the dragon and his angels. 8 And the dragon lost the battle and was forced out of heaven. 9 This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the Devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels. 10 Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, “It has happened at last—the salvation and power and kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ! For the Accuser has been thrown down to earth—the one who accused our brothers and sisters before our God day and night. 11 And they have defeated him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of their testimony. And they were not afraid to die. 12 Rejoice, O heavens! And you who live in the heavens, rejoice! But terror will come on the earth and the sea. For the Devil has come down to you in great anger, and he knows that he has little time.”

There it is my friend, God’s Word that states a massive invasion from outer space will occur some time in the future, a time particularly called the Great Tribulation, a period of seven literal years where in the middle of it, Satan and these fallen angel-demons will invade the earth and bring havoc and destruction previously unknown to humanity on all the earth.

In fact, right now, I believe the devil is preparing the world for this invasion. He gives humanity what it likes. Today we are fascinated by the thought that by evolution, millions of other creatures in the universe evolved like us, some more advanced, and one day, if not already, we will be invaded by such loving extraterrestrial life. Well friend, Satan loves to give us our fairy tale fantasies. So I believe much of the UFO hype and supposed sightings are really demon induced apparitions for us to believe; And, one day Satan and the demons, will fulfill this fantasy with their actual massive invasion.

Now note this my friend, God says it will not be a friendly visit, but a massive invasion of billions of fallen demons, who will come to destroy all of God’s creation. But, the archangel Michael and the other elect angels will drive them all onto the earth and trap them there. There for a 3 ½ period, the latter half of the Great Tribulation Period, they will literally seek to destroy the earth and mankind, except for the fact Jesus predicted,

Mat 24:21-22 (NASB)  for then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall. 22 “And unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days shall be cut short.

Yes, God will end the massive destruction caused by these super powerful extraterrestrial creatures called demons, through His dramatic Second Coming to the earth as Lord and King. We read what Jesus Christ will do as He descends from Heaven in hot pursuit of these wicked fallen angels,

Rev 19:11-16 (NLT)  Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. And the one sitting on the horse was named Faithful and True. For he judges fairly and then goes to war. 12 His eyes were bright like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him, and only he knew what it meant. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven, dressed in pure white linen, followed him on white horses. 15 From his mouth came a sharp sword, and with it he struck down the nations. He ruled them with an iron rod, and he trod the winepress of the fierce wrath of almighty God. 16 On his robe and thigh was written this title: King of kings and Lord of lords.

Yes, only the 2^nd Coming of Jesus Christ can stop this disastrous invasion of demon forces that will kill and destroy all life on this planet in the rage and fury of Satan’s wrath against God. Jesus Christ will capture them all, and cast them into the abyss, the “bottomless pit” where they will be chained for 1000 years, the period of the Millennium, where God allows saved humanity to live without Satan and his fallen demons attacking them.

Were you aware of this real promised invasion of extraterrestrial life? Well, it will not come from any evolved higher forms of life as Hollywood predicts, rather the Bible which tells the truth, informs us this day of invasion is coming, and maybe sooner than you think.

However, the important factor in this “war of the ages,” a battle between unrighteousness and the righteousness of God Himself, will one day come to an end when God casts all who followed Satan, into the burning Lake of Fire, the final Hell if you please.

Now, in God giving us this scenario, He did so that we might be forewarned and take appropriate measures to insure we will not be on the earth at that time, nor destroyed by the power and wickedness of this invasion from outer space. How can this be accomplished? Well my friend, the Bible says we must, while we have life and breath, come to God confessing our sins and who we are, sinners in thoughts, words and deeds, and call upon the only means of our salvation, and sparing from the living death that will await all fallen sinners. Friend that means of salvation is Jesus Christ’s death on the cross at Calvary, thousands of years ago where Jesus died for you and for me. Listen to Jesus’ words to us today,

John 6:38-40 (NLT)  For I have come down from heaven to do the will of God who sent me, not to do what I want. 39 And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them to eternal life at the last day. 40 For it is my Father’s will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life—that I should raise them at the last day.”

Note the phrase “all who see God’s Son and believe in him.” This is what God wants and expects of any of us to be saved from our sins and the penalty of death and Hell to come. To see God’s Son means, to look intently into who He is and what He has done. When anyone does this by reading and studying the Bible, they come to realize this man Jesus was God come in the flesh, that He is the very essence of God in human form. Further, to “believe on Him” refers to carrying this to completion, which is putting your absolute trust and reliance upon Him for the rest of your life and eternity. On this account, you believe that He died for you as the Bible says; you believe that He arose from the dead; that His resurrection is promise of the Father God to resurrect all who follow Christ and worship Him as their Lord God and Savior; and finally, it means you cast off every other idea of yourself being ruler of your life and you give your life to Jesus Christ who is your Savior. The Bible tells us these very things. Listen,

John 1:1 (NASB)  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 (NASB)  And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Col 1:16-18 (NASB)  For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created by Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the first-born from the dead; so that He Himself might come to have first place in everything.

John 1:12 (NASB)  But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,

Friend, this is the mightiest privilege and blessing in the universe! A gift God gives only to human beings who are fallen. No other creature, angels or demons can receive forgiveness for their sins. They are locked in them for eternity, sealed in sin and the judgments that will follow. But you my friend can change your state of death, into life eternal with Christ. But you must personally act and respond. Here’s a simple prayer of faith that change your ticket to Hell to a place called Heaven.

Dear God and Father, I’ve come to understand that I am a sinner, and I’ve broken your laws of the universe by making myself my own god. I realize You tell me in the Bible that the penalty for this sin is an everlasting living death in a place called Hell. I also understand now that You loved me enough to plan my escape and forgiveness. You sent Jesus Christ Your Son, my God, to die on my place and to enable You to forgive me all my sins forever. All I have to do is accept this marvelous gift, through Jesus Christ, by turning my life and heart over to your rulership. I do accept Jesus as My Savior and My Lord and I ask for Your power now to live above my sins and look forward to time I will be with You forever and ever. Thank You Jesus for saving me, thank You O’ holy Father for providing this forgiveness and thank You Holy Spirit for coming into my life to guide me and guard me till Jesus comes for me in glory. This I pray in His precious Name Amen.

Friend, there is coming a massive invasion from outer space. It will not be pretty and the invaders coming will not be your friend. However, you can avoid that day by turning to Jesus Christ right now, and enjoy His protection, care and of course, the Rapture and homegoing of the Church before this future event unfurls. May God find you “in Christ,” on that day, and may He have mercy on your soul if you find yourself here when that invasion arrives…

…Well friends, I understand the fascination of films predicting extraterrestrial life. Why? Because it shows us the desire to go beyond life here and now and enter the fellowship of millions of others in the universe and eternity. Whether there is other human life out there, God has not told us. I suspect from the whole of Scriptures we are the only life form other than angels God created. Yet, that dream fantasy of sorts, can be fulfilled in ways pleasing to God. If you join God’s forever family, one day in eternity the stars and the heavens will be yours to enjoy and fellowship in with the myriads of saved ones down through the ages along with the billions upon billions of highly intelligent life who are known as God’s angels. It’s your choice, but remember your decision along life’s way determines your destiny in eternity.
